Using state-of-the-art digital decoders such as the famous Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, the SR-5011 multi-channel amplifier represents a sure bet for performance and reliability. A multitude of features are offered on the amplification side such as "Biamplification", "Front Height" speakers, and several music services such as SiriusXM, Spotify and Pandora are offered. In addition, the SR-5011 incorporates a video processor to process 4K images (3840 x 2160)!

Not only is the SR-5011 compatible with Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD formats, it is also one of the first receivers to incorporate the new Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technologies. Creating dedicated digital filters for each speaker, the Audyssey system delivers tonal balance, dynamics and consistency worthy of Marantz's reputation.

Rated at 100 Watts per channel over 7 channels, the SR-5011 can easily power any loudspeaker while maintaining remarkable dynamics. In addition, the SR-5011 respects the concept of discrete multi-amplification being the use of one monophonic power amplifier per channel. This gives it great stability, even for speakers with lower impedances. The SR-5011 therefore offers a real performance amplification solution.

Designed to be as durable as possible, the SR-5011 is one of the first cinema receivers in the world to integrate the new HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 processors. Full compatibility of the most demanding video signals such as 4K, 4:4:4 and HDR allows images to be processed with minute digital precision! Additionally, the SR-5011 can upscale a lower resolution image such as 1080P to 4K giving older video sources a “second life”.
