Based on the award-winning PM-6005, the new PM-6006 incorporates a CS4398 digital-to-analog converter (DAC) compatible with 24-bit/192.8kHz signals as well as Marantz's renowned HDAM technology. The power source contains, among other things, an Audiophile-grade toroidal transformer that is electromagnetically isolated in order to obtain a high-capacity energy reservoir, high-discharge capacitors and Shottky Barrier diodes for the purest current possible. In addition, the digital circuit is completely separated from the analog one in order to completely eliminate magnetic noise during decoding.

Using only the best components available, the PM-6006 was designed around a power source featuring a toroidal transformer, high discharge capacitors and Shottky Barrier diodes. These three elements make it possible to obtain a current that is as pure as it is powerful.

Equipped with an audiophile CS4398 Digital/Analog converter compatible with 24Bits/192.8kHz formats, the PM-6006 can directly use digital sources. In addition, the complete digital circuit is magnetically isolated to eliminate any risk of electromagnetic pollution coming from the power amplification section.
