Designed entirely with Audiophile and Cinephile factors in mind, the Marantz MM8077 is a High-Performance 7-Channel Power Amplifier. It is able to offer a power up to 150 Watts per channel in 8 Ohms and this between 20Hz and 20kHz! In addition, a key element in its design is its power system.

Full Aluminum Construction

In order to eliminate the phenomenon of "internal amplification microphony", the MM8077 is built on a triple-thick aluminum base. This gives it the anti-vibration mechanical stability necessary to achieve such levels of performance.

High-Capacity Power Supply

Totaling 100,000 Micro-Farads of capacity, the MM8077's internal power system guarantees an energy reservoir that can meet the dynamic demands of new modern recording formats.

Discrete Amplification Concept

Based on the concept of "Discrete Multiple Amplification", the MM8077 offers 7 channels of amplification isolated from each other. In addition, high-efficiency transistors are used in this construction. This technique allows an almost perfect separation of the different amplification channels which greatly reduces the “Crosstalk” phenomenon.

Well thought out cooling

With the output amplifier section mounted entirely within a double butted aluminum chassis, the heat generated is controlled both actively and passively. On the one hand, the massive heat sinks, with a good contact surface, ensure stable and silent cooling. On the other hand, the MM8077, having been built in such a way as to be able to respond to all situations, Marantz has also integrated an active cooling system in order to deal with potential use of enormous intensity.

Increased Connectivity

For connection versatility, the MM8077 offers both Unbalanced (RCA) and Balanced (XLR) inputs. This makes it possible to respond to all types of installations and uses. In addition, each connector is anodized with gold which greatly increases conductivity and durability.
