Its Ultimate has a Bryston SP-1.7 Cinema Processor/Preamplifier. It was retrieved from a customer wishing to make an "update" in its High-Performance cinema system.

The SP-1.7 is in excellent condition apart from the erasing of the "Bryston" logo on the front... which is a detail...

It comes with the box and the original remote control. In addition, there is 8 years of Bryston warranty remaining. The Preamp section closely resembles the circuitry of the old Reference BP-25 Stereo Preamplifier. This is therefore a reference analog cinema preamplifier, which should not be overlooked.

This processor, no longer being digitally up to date, it can be used in 3 ways:

1. Someone wishing to listen to older formats such as DVD, this is one of the best possible solutions.

2. Someone with a multichannel source processing new formats such as the BDP-105 from Oppo, the SP-1.7 could be used for its analog Preamplification section.

3. Anyone looking for a High-Quality/Performance Stereophonic Preamplifier, the SP-1.7 is by far one of the most interesting possibilities considering product devaluation.
