The MX123/MC255 form the Cinema duo while the MA12000 is the heart of the Stereo system. When the system is used in stereo mode, the MA12000 uses its DAC/Preamp/Poweramp.

When the system is used in cinema mode, the MA12000 automatically enters “Passthru” mode to reactivate its DAC/Preamp. This allows the MX123
to use the MA12000 as a power amplifier for the Left/Right fronts.
