The new Canterbury GR has been designed for audiophiles demanding power and a passion for 15" Dual Concentric transducers. Although this transducer requires a larger volume of airflow, engineers have kept a "compact" size 139 liters compared to the majestic Westiminster. The Canterbury offers a cabinet composed of Russian birch for its high density and a distributed variable port system allowing an incomparable reproduction of low frequencies. The timeless beauty of the Cantebury GR offers an oiled walnut finish and honors Tannoy's heritage incorporating the original lightning bolt logo.

The new 15" Dual Concentric transducer features a PepperPot Waveguide, Alnico motor system, 2" heat-treated aluminum compression tweeter, new chemically treated cellulose pulp cone, a cryogenically treated acoustic filter, and a carbon fiber suspension of a "Nomex" weave. The new Canterbury GR is by far one of the most technologically advanced loudspeakers in the industry and will provide you with years of sonic enjoyment!
